Buy a Brick, Build a House
In a small fishing community in rural India, many children ended up living on the streets during the pandemic due to a lack of day labor and medical care for their families. Most of them were orphaned from their families and abused while living on the streets of the village.
A Christian social worker, Seetha, began taking in these children, providing them with shelter, basic necessities, and love. What started as a small group of children has grown to almost 100 children in need of food and shelter.
Currently, there is a girls' home and two boys' homes with around 30 children in each 300-square-foot home. In July of 2025, God blessed us with the funds to begin construction on a 1,000-square-foot home, specifically to house the boys.
We are three-fifths of the way through construction and are hoping to raise the remaining $20,000 by the end of the year, so that these children can start a new year with a new home!

Orphanage Building: 1,000-square-foot facility including an outdoor garden and kitchen, outdoor wash facilities, toilets, full fencing for security, a water well, and full electricity.

Fill a Room, Make a Home
Once construction is finished on the building, we would like to make the home livable and comfortable with all the necessities for the children.
These furnishings will allow the children to live in the home while attending local schools, learning English, and hearing the word of God weekly through a discipleship program hosted by Soar for Greatness.
